A Case of Vit B12 Deficiency Megaloblastic Anemia

Abstract

|
A 60-year-old male patient was admitted with coimplaint of general weakness and dizziness. The case was diagnosed by serum Vit B12 level, Schilling test and hematologic study. He had some complications, such as glossitis, subacute combined degeneration of spinal cord. After he was administrated Vit B12 daily 1,000 μg IM for 1wk, he was able to be discharged in healthy condition.
